******PLEASE READ THIS IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON DRIVING IN THE CITY******
FYI - The City of Chicago recently installed cameras at many stop lights. If you drive through a red light or turn on red when a sign says not to, do not be surprised if you receive a $90.00 ticket mailed to you with a picture of you driving through the intersection!
This just happened to Tony! In fact, it happened as we were leaving Reza's. There is a NO TURN ON RED FROM 7am - 7pm sign at the intersection just west of Reza's. He overlooked that sign and had to pay $90.00.
We just wanted to make our guests aware of this. Just remember to STOP when you approach a yellow light and to obey all signs. The yellow lights in the city are MUCH SHORTER than suburban yellow lights!! We would hate for you to get a ticket while driving to or from our wedding!

From Lake Shore Drive, take the Fullerton exit west to Sheffield.
Make a left on Sheffield.
Go 2 blocks; church is on the southwest corner of Webster and Sheffield.
There is a FREE parking lot behind the church on Sheffield.

Accommodations: Palmer House Hilton
We have reserved a block of rooms at the Palmer House Hilton in Chicago. The rate is $175.00 per night plus tax and parking. Parking is $30.00 per night; however, you may be able to find a better deal nearby. We realize that $175.00 is expensive, but it's actually a good rate compared to other downtown hotels - there are two conventions that weekend at Navy Pier.
You should also be able to find rooms for about $100 per night near O'Hare airport or in the suburbs. It's at least a half hour drive (with traffic) from O'Hare to downtown. Ceremony: St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church
Tony is an alum of De Paul University. St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church is on the corner of Webster & Sheffield in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago. The church is over 100 years old - it's definitely something to see. There is a free parking directly behind the church for church guests. We hope you can join us for the brief ceremony! Reception: Reza‘s
We chose Reza‘s restaurant for its excellent cuisine and unique setting. They specialize in Persian/Mediterranean fare. Reza's is located near the intersection of Ontario and Orleans, in the River North area.
Street parking is extremely limited. Valet parking is available for $10. Expect up to 20 minutes to retrieve your car. Cab fare between Reza's and the Palmer House is about $6-$11. Sam and Tony are going to carpool - you can too!...but not with us. :)
